The weakest wine on the night and I have tasted much better Falaghinas(Giordano Wines £9)

2010 Monte di Grazia IGT Melogna, Field Blend

Slightly spritzy, delightfully light and summery and worked really well with the food although could also work as an aperitif. Worked well with the Puttanesca (Tannico UK, Caves de Pyrennes £21 – £24)

2018 Feudi di San Gregorio Trigaio Aglianico

This is the showcase Campanian grape and what a classy wine – rich and full with sunshine, deep red berry fruit, lovely smooth tannins and a touch of violets on the nose. Super stuff! Splendid with the Polpette, superb value (Justincases, Campanian Wines Ltd UK £10 – £12)

2017 Feudi di San Gregorio Rubrato Aglianico

Very good but not up to the rich standard of the previous wine, more expensive as well!
