Sparkling wine produced from unique blend in a limited edition from local varieties of grapes Feteasca Alba, Feteasca Neagra, Feteasca Regala, harvested from the sunny vineyards of Moldova. This sparkling wine has a bright pale straw yellow colour with characteristics aromas of acacia flowers, basil, yellow fruit and quince, a well-balanced acidity and fresh taste. Made by the Charmat (tank) method, Well-liked on the night and refreshing, very good value.<\/p>\n
Viorica is an indigenous Moldovan grape variety, which is distinguished by its special aroma and taste. This wine reflects the originality and uniqueness of the local winemaking, the fact that makes Viorica a symbol of Moldovan white wines. The aroma of wine harmoniously interweaves a lot of flavours with predominance of basil, flower, fruits and citrus notes. On the palate, well-balanced fresh fruits, long with notes of basil, honey and citrus freshness. The grape is a Seyval\/Aglianico cross, with a really unusual nose and palate (basil? honey?), maybe reminiscent of a rustic mineralised dry Muscat, with some deep character. Fascinating and very different, quite well liked.<\/p>\n
Obtained from the native grape variety “Feteasca Alba”, a popular wine with its exclusivity attracting an increasing number of consumers. The wine has a full taste, comprehensive and delicate bouquet. We found this somewhat unremarkable, very light and delicate, slight flowery nose and touch of quince or pears on the palate.<\/p>\n
A wine made from indigenous white grape varieties, Floricica and Alb de Onitcani. In this blend the floral-fruity notes of both varieties are combined to create a perfectly balanced wine with unique aromas. The wine has a greenish colour with golden hues, on the nose complex aroma of exotic fruits, ripe melon and a slight hint of vanilla. Harmonious taste, fresh, with a long, pleasant aftertaste. The two grapes fermented separately, aged in acacia barrels and blended very late, only 5 (Flor.) and 7 hectares (Alb.) of these grapes planted in the world! Slightly candied nose, very pleasant palate with notes of lightly stewed apricots and peaches.<\/p>\n
Dry red wine with a deep burgundy colour.A complex bouquet with aromas of black currant, cherry, plum, chocolate, vanilla. The taste is well balanced, with a refined acidity, pleasant and soft with nuances of oak, thanks to the ageing of the wine in oak barriques. On the nose, red and black fruits and a hint of vanilla, very soft mid-palate but not very long. One to drink soon.<\/p>\n
Saperavi is a wine with a strong personality that will surprise you \u2013 it\u2019s an explosion of grace, perfect for edgy combinations and the most surprising olfactory experiences. Saperavi, the famous unmistakably fragrant Georgian variety, is noted for its strong character and authenticity of fulminant taste. The wine is an intense ruby with purple reflections revealing strong aromas of plum and well-ripened fruit. Quite simply the best Saperavi that I have tasted, a good firm slightly rustic palate after 12 months in French oak and real depth of character. Saperavi is also grown in Kazakhstan but, surprisingly given the geography, not in Romania. Splendid wine, quite well-liked on the night.<\/p>\n
A local indigenous variety that fully reflects the legendary nobility of Moldovan viticulture. The wine is rich in flavour and surprises with the complexity of the grapes opening up in numerous flavours. Also widely grown in Romania, touch of vanilla on the nose after 18 months in oak, quite full on the palate, plums and spice, but rather short finish. Tannins very mild, probably again not a keeper.<\/p>\n
Dry red wine with purple reflections. Blend created from selected Saperavi and Condrinschi varieties. Pronounced aroma of black currant, blueberries, blackberries, slightly spicy notes. Fruity aftertaste with well-balanced tannins. A very good well-made wine but, for me, a bit \u201cinternational\u201d in its style with less character than the Timbrus Saperavi. Will probably age quite well. Codrinski is a Babeasca Neagra-Cabernet Sauvignon cross. Not such good value.<\/p>\n
